Rockwell Collins to provide sensor for Brazilian unmanned helicopter

Brazil's FT Sistemas has picked Rockwell Collins to provide the navigation sensor for its new FT-200FH unmanned helicopter.

Rockwell Collins will deliver its Micro Inertial Navigation Sensor for the FT-200FH, according to a company news release. ​

Weighing around 3.5 ounces, the "Micro INS uses highly reliable micro electromechanical systems sensors, including accelerometers, rate gyros, magnetometer and air data pressure sensors, along with a differential ready, Wide Area Augmentation System-enabled GPS receiver," Rockwell Collins said.Rockwell Collins will deliver its Micro Inertial Navigation Sensor (INS) for the FT-200FH, according to a company news release.
