The Army has chosen four companies for a $249 million contract to procure enterprise IT services in support of program manager installation information infrastructure communications and capabilities.
The contract went to:
- Octo Consulting Group, McLean, Virginia;
- Connected Logistics, Huntsville, Alabama;
- Strategy and Management Services, Springfield, Virginia;
- Mission 1st Group, Princeton, New Jersey.
"As the Army seeks to bring vital leading-edge IT capability to the DoD enterprise, and with the need for U.S forces to maintain vigilant operational readiness in the volatile Southwest Asian and Asia-Pacific regions, it's absolutely critical that we equip our soldiers and coalition partners with the modernized infrastructure necessary to rapidly meet evolving threats," said Mehul Sanghani, Octo's CEO. "This award validates our nearly seven years of stellar past performance support to the Army."
Orders made through the contract will span a range of locations and funding levels, according to the Army. Work is estimated to be complete by March 11, 2018.
