The Air Force is looking for advanced, cyber-secure and open standards computer architecture.

The Mission System Open Architecture Science and Technology (MOAST) project is aimed at building upon emerging open architecture standards, such as the Open Mission Systems (OMS) and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Command and Control Initiative (UCI), according to the Air Force Research Laboratory presolicitation.

"This research will provide robust, open architecture solutions to enable affordable capability evolution, reduced integration risk, sustained competition across the life-cycle, as well as make these systems resilient to cyber-attack," the Air Force said.
