General Atomics has been awarded a $400 million Air Force contract for more MQ-9 Reaper UAVs.

Under the contract, General Atomics will provide 36 Reapers "in the fiscal 2016 production configuration," according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

The work is scheduled to be completed by August 2020. The contract was awarded by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio
