The Royal Navy has unveiled an unmanned speedboat.

The Maritime Autonomy Surface Testbed (MAST) was glimpsed on the Thames River near London, according to The Guardian.

"Accompanied by the patrol craft HMS Archer, the 32-foot-long MAST spent an hour on Monday weaving between pleasure boats and goods barges at a moderate pace, heading up the river towards Westminster before returning downriver," the newspaper said.

MAST will be featured in the Royal Navy's upcoming Unmanned Warrior exercises.
