Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has launched a new online undergraduate degree program to prepare students for UAS careers.
The program is a bachelor of science in unmanned systems applications, and it will cover the administration, operations and development of unmanned systems, according to the university.
Embry-Riddle already had a master's program in unmanned systems, and the new program brings related topics to undergraduates "We've seen strong growth and interest in our graduate program in just one year and are excited about introducing unmanned systems applications at the undergraduate level," said Ken Witcher, dean of Embry-Riddle Worldwide's College of Aeronautics.
The BS program will begin in July.
