Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $12.3 million Navy contract for the ALQ-213 Electronic Warfare Management System for the P-8A maritime patrol aircraft.

This contract includes 38 ALQ-213 tactical threat displays for the Navy, with 27 going to the U.S. Navy, three to the U.K. and eight to Australia, according to the U.S. Department of Defense contract announcement.

There will roughly be similar allocations for ALQ-213 early warning management units, OMNI blade antennas, tactical data units and tactical data cartridges.

"In addition, this contract provides for component and system level software and hardware integration and testing prior to system delivery," the DoD said.
