The Air Force has awarded a cryptographic contract to seven companies.

Under the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, which has a maximum value of $875 million, the winners will provide "total life cycle support of cryptographic and information assurance related products and will include contracted activities during materiel solutions analysis, technology maturation and risk reduction, engineering and manufacturing development, production, and product support," according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

The companies chosen are General Dynamics Mission Systems, Harris Corp., L-3 Systems, Leidos, Raytheon, Sypris Electronics and ViaSat.

The contract is scheduled for completion by December 2026.
