Leidos has been awarded a $23.5 million Air Force contract for threat warning and electro-optical research.

Under the Air Force Research Laboratory contract, Leidos will provide “applied and advanced research and development to develop and demonstrate prototype advanced integrated threat warning systems while advancing electro-optical test and developmental risk reduction methodologies,” according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

The work is scheduled to be completed by September 2022.
