CACI International has been awarded a task order to support the Army's Intelligence and Information Warfare Directorate (I2WD).

The contract, which CACI said was in the multimillions of dollars, is for development, engineering and protection services, according to a company news release.

"CACI will provide software and hardware engineering support to help I2WD secure air and ground platforms against electronic warfare attack and assist in developing countermeasures," the company said.

The contract was awarded under the Rapid Response-Third Generation contract vehicle.
