Investigators work on scattered debris on March 26, 2015 on the crash site of the Germanwings Airbus A320 that crashed in the French Alps above the southeastern town of Seyne. The young co-pilot of the doomed Germanwings flight that crashed on March 24, appears to have “deliberately” crashed the plane into the French Alps after locking his captain out of the cockpit, but is not believed to be part of a terrorist plot, French officials said on March 26, 2015. An American contractor who worked for Booz Allen Hamilton on a project with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency was among the fatalities in the apparently intentional crash of Germanwings Flight 9525 in the French Alps, Yahoo reported.

Yvonne Selke of Nokesville, Virginia, had worked at Booz Allen Hamilton for 23 years, according to the report. Her daughter Emily Selke, who had graduated with honors from Drexel University in 2013, also died in the crash.

Booz Allen confirmed Selke’s employment and NGA assignment, but provided no other details, according to Yahoo.

Investigators have determined that the plane’s co-pilot apparently locked the pilot out of the cabin and crashed the plane deliberately, according to media reports.
