Raytheon has been awarded a $102.9 million Navy contract for satellite terminals.

The contract is for Navy Multiband Terminals (NMT), according to the Department of Defense contract announcement. The terminals will be mostly for the U.S. military, with 3 percent of the devices destined for the U.K.

The NMT supports Extremely High Frequency(EHF)/Advanced EHF Low Data Rate/Medium Data Rate/Extended Data Rate, Super High Frequency, military Ka (transmit/receive) and Global Broadcast Service (receive-only) communications.

The contract is scheduled to be completed by September 2018, or September 2022 if all options are exercised.
