Hughes Network Systems has demonstrated its advanced satellite waveform technology during exercises with U.S. and Australian forces during Talisman Sabre 2015.

Australian forces used the Hughes HX time division multiple access (TDMA) system, according to a Hughes news release.

"Australia is still maturing its understanding of deployed TDMA Satellite Operations, and the support from Hughes was fundamental to both the successful outcome of the exercise, and educating Army on planning and executing operations utilizing TDMA waveforms," said Col. Shaun Love, director of Land Network Integration for the Australian Defense Force.
