Thales wins Australian comms contract

Thales has signed a contract with Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles Australia to provide communications for Australian Defense Force trucks.

Thales will provide its Sotas Lite crew intercom system, according to a company news release. It will design the C4I system for the vehicles, including integrating radios into the intercom.

Australia is acquiring up to 2,536 medium and heavy trucks from Rheinmetall.
