Video Feature: PM Mission Command leaders talk situational awareness

Situational awareness is critical for soldiers, and PM Mission Command is one the key Army organizations tasked with providing and advancing it.

Recently, C4ISR & Networks Editor Barry Rosenberg met with COL Michael Thurston, head of PM Mission Command, along with several other leaders, to discuss the organization's work, progress and challenges ahead. Thurston has said previously that he wants PM Mission Command to make communications systems used in the field as simple as possible, so that soldiers can learn then quickly and then focus on their duties without having to worry much about activating radios. He continued that theme during the roundtable discussion.
