Two Stryker brigades are receiving Warfighter Information Network – Tactical (WIN-T) Increment 2. The 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, and the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, at Fort Bliss, will receive the package.
Conference: MG Daniel Hughes, COL Michael Thurston and other leaders in tactical communications will be part of the line-up at the 14th annual C4ISR & Networks Conference, to be held April 7. Click here to find out more.
"Fielding WIN-T Increment 2 to Army Stryker Brigades closes the communications gap between fast moving SBCTs [Stryker Brigade Combat Teams] and 'boots on the ground' soldiers," said Chris Marzilli, president of General Dynamics Mission Systems. "The highly mobile and operationally simplified Increment 2 allows soldiers to quickly and simultaneously address multiple missions in any environment, across the mission field or between continents."
