Elbit has unveiled a new mini-UAV, according to Israeli news site Globes.
The Skylark 3 has a range of more than 100 kilometers, an endurance of up to six hours and a maximum payload of 10 kilograms, Globes said. Propelled by an electric motor, the UAV is "launched via a pneumatic launcher, mounted either on the ground or on a vehicle."
"... Skylark 3 offers upgrades such as improved payloads with better target detection, classification and surveillance capabilities," according to Globes.
The UAV has a 4.8-meter wingspan and a maximum altitude of 15,000 feet.
