The first UAV training base in Northern Europe is coming to the Netherlands.

Strat Aero is negotiating with the Netherlands government to establish a training center there, according to a company news release. According to a letter of intent between Strat Aero and Dutch authorities, the agreement would include an 8,000-foot runway for training of military and civilians crews on fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs.

There will also be hangar space for six Sandshark UAVs, as well as one Predator and one Reaper. The Sandsharks will be used to simulate Predator and Reaper operations.
