General Dynamics Information Technology has been awarded a Navy IT contract to support Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, or SPAWAR.
The three-year contract, which has a maximum value of $70 million, calls for General Dynamics to continue providing enterprise-level support to the SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic and Commander Navy Installations Command.
"General Dynamics will provide program, engineering and technical support to the Navy in the following areas: enterprise IT and data center hosting; cybersecurity engineering; command, control and communications protection ashore; enterprise information management; and enterprise support center operations," according to a company news release.
The work will be performed in Washington, D.C.; Norfolk, Virginia; Charleston, South Carolina; Jacksonville, Florida; and San Diego.
