Comtech Telecommunications has received a $7 million order from a foreign prime contract to design and install fixed troposcatter terminals.
Comtech did not identify the customer, but a company news release stated that "the systems will be used by a foreign military end-customer for communications between off-shore islands."
"Our troposcatter systems provide a unique low latency, beyond line of sight (BLOS) communications backhaul capability," said Comtech CEO Stanton Sloane.
