Meprolight wins IDF combat sights contract

The Israel Defense Forces have selected the MEPRO M5 Red Dot Sights as their next-generation combat sight.

Produced by Meprolight, the MEPRO M5 is an energy-efficient, compact sight that features LED technology powered by a single AA commercial battery. Featuring a MIL-STD design, large display window, clearly defined red dot and numerous reticle brightness intensities, the sight can withstand harsh conditions while offering rapid target acquisition with both eyes open in varied tactical scenarios. To facilitate night operations and long-range target engagement, the MEPRO M5 is compatible with GEN II and GEN III NVGs, as well as with magnifying scopes.

Delivery of MEPRO M5 sights will begin in December 2015 and continue throughout 2016.
