DCS and Millennium Corporation have been awarded three Army task orders, with a total value of approximately $21 million, for sensors and night vision.

The task orders, awarded to the DCS-Millennium joint venture, known as DMJV, are part of the Warrior Enabling Broad Sensors (WEBS) contract for the Army's Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center, Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD), and Project Manager Terrestrial Sensors.

The work includes supporting NVESD's Ground Degraded Visual Environment (gDVE) for development and image-processing enhancements.

"For this effort, DMJV and its subcontractors will develop low sensitivity/low integration time uncooled IR [infrared] (UCIR) cameras with switchable spectral filter capability optimized for the Degraded Visual Environment (DVE)," a DCS news release said.
