After a year and a half in Norfolk, which included a year-long maintenance and modernization overhaul, the amphibious assault ship Bataan went back to sea Feb. 20 for sea trials and to begin her basic unit training. As of March 21, she's back at sea again after a two-day port visit to make some machinery adjustments.
