Raytheon has been awarded a $14.9 million contract modification to provide additional Navy satellite terminals.

Under the contract options, Raytheon will produce, test and deliver fully integrated Navy Multiband Terminals (NMT), according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

NMT is a multiband communications terminal that provides protected and wideband communications, including EHF, super high frequency, military Ka and Global Broadcast Service receive-only communications.

The contract will be partly funded through Foreign Military Sales funds for Australia.
