The global military robot market will reach $21.1 billion by 2020, according to a forecast by market research firm MarketsandMarkets. This reflects a compound annual growth rate of 9.27 percent from 2015.
"This growth can be attributed to the rising need for efficient border surveillance and general ISR functions, combined with the technological advancements in the field of robotic systems globally," the report said.
North America will dominate the military robot market, but the most growth will be in Europe and Asia-Pacific, with the strongest growth in Europe.
