Three companies have been awarded $492 million in Navy contracts for Automated Digital Network System, or ADNS, Increment III units.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts were awarded to DRS Laurel Technologies, SAIC and SERCO, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
ADNS supports tactical wide-area networks for ships and shore facilities.
"ADNS Increment III increases network capacity by adding the ability to utilize higher bandwidth available with newer satellite communication systems," the DoD said.
The work is scheduled to be completed by June 2025.
