Serco has been awarded a $12 million contract to build C4I and IT infrastructure for the new Air Force command-and-control facility at Offutt Air Force Base, Omaha, Nebraska.

"Following the Air Force's vision to build a state-of-the-art facility with the flexibility to support operations for the next 50 years, Serco will design, procure, integrate, and install C4I and IT network systems," said a Serco news release.

"This new contract win expands our IT services footprint modernizing Department of Defense command and control facilities," Serco CEO Dan Allen said.

The contract was awarded by the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command — Systems Center Pacific.
