Amber Corrin, senior reporter at C4ISR & Networks since 2014, has been named editor. In her new role, Corrin will direct all of the brand's editorial content. Her appointment is effective immediately.
"Amber is the pre-eminent journalist covering the defense IT and networks community," said David Smith, vice president and general manager of Sightline Media Group, parent company of C4ISR & Networks.
Corrin "has built strong relationships and reputation at key agencies in our community," Smith added. "Amber will do a terrific job as C4ISR & Networks editor, with great knowledge and deep interest in the market. "
"I'm very excited to take over as editor at C4ISR & Networks, where we're striving toward a new era in what's already a top-notch publication," Corrin said. "I'm looking forward to building on our brand, taking our journalism to a new level and ensuring we're first among equals in the C4ISR community. It's a community we'll continue to serve with high regard and innovative approaches, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to do so."
Corrin was named one of Huffington Post's top technologists on Twitter in 2014. She replaces former Editor Barry Rosenberg, who left in 2015.
