According to a news release, network attribute compliant will be tested to certify it meets U.S. Cyber Command guidance.
"Just like any other weapons system, the cyber network must be protected from threats ... This inspection will ensure that we are meeting DISA standards and that our practices do not create or allow vulnerabilities onto our network," said Senior Master Sgt. Sean Brice, 49th CS operations superintendent.
Communications personnel and Information Assurance Officers in every unit will distribute notices advising individuals as to what is needed to push updates and reinforce mandated protocols through every machine on base.
