BAE has been awarded an $11 million contract to develop advanced electronic warfare technology.
BAE will research a full-spectrum staring electronic support receiver (FSSR) with instantaneous direction finding (IDF), according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
"The focus of this effort is to design, develop, integrate, and demonstrate an FSSR with IDF that leverages emerging and highly innovative electronic and photonic component technologies into an end-to-end electronic warfare demonstration system," the Department of Defense said.
