TeleCommunication Systems Inc. received a $223.4 million delivery order for to supply the Army satellite terminals.

Placed under the Global Tactical Advanced Communication Systems (GTACS) and Services contract vehicle, TeleCommunication Systems will supply micro satellite (Microsat) very small aperture terminals (VSATs), baseband networking equipment and associated engineering services, according to a company news release.

The initial funding is $9.9 million for the base 12-month period. The contract is scheduled for completion by September 2020.
