Lockheed Martin has unveiled an upgraded version of its Indago 3 quadrotor UAV.

The Indago 3 features an encrypted and secure data link, secure mesh-capable video dissemination across multi-node networks and extended range radio for long distance operation at low altitudes, according to a Lockheed Martin news release. It also has a reduced radio frequency footprint through the TrellisWare's TW-600 Ocelot.

The Indago 3 has an endurance of 50 minutes, a range of 10 kilometers and a cruise speed of 25 miles per hour. It weighs less than 5 pounds.
