L-3 wins Air Force cryptographic contract

L-3 National Security Solutions has been awarded a $13.3 million Air Force contract for cryptographic systems.

L-3 will provide "a certified common cryptographic core, certified portable key loader intelligence version, certified portable key loader garrison version, and certified portable key loader tactical version, with 20 productions units," according to the Department of Defense contract announcement. The contract is scheduled to be completed by September 2017.
