General Dynamics has been awarded a task order to support a "cloud of clouds" IT initiative at Sandia National Laboratories.
Under the task order, which has a maximum value of $1.3 million over three years, General Dynamics will develop the foundation for sustainable, cost-effective cloud computing capabilities for the lab, according to a company news release.
The company will also develop the business framework and other strategy and planning components to guide the laboratory's staff as it deploys the new IT model.
