UltiSat has been awarded a DISA contract to supply bandwidth to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Under the Commercial Satellite Communications Transponded Capacity task order awarded by the Defense Information Systems Agency Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, UltiSat will provide Ku-band bandwidth capacity to the NGA Deployable Communications Systems, according to an UltiSat news release.

The bandwidth will support geospatial intelligence missions around the world.

"UltiSat will provide Ku-band bandwidth and backhaul in the continental United States, and Ku-band bandwidth and backhaul outside the continental United States in order to support NDCS GEOINT operations," the company said.
