DISA awards communications contract to Sprint

Sprint has been awarded a Defense Information Systems Agency communications upgrade contract.

Under the contract, Sprint will upgrade the Defense Information Systems Network Optical Transport Network, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.

The contract has an initial value of $34.2 million, and a maximum cumulative value of $215.7 million.
