Indian radio contract awarded to Rockwell Collins

Rockwell Collins has been awarded a contract for Indian military radios.

Under the contract with Electronics Corporation of India (ECIL), Rockwell Collins will supply communications and navigation components for radios being indigenously manufactured by ECIL for the Indian military.

"These components supplied by Rockwell Collins are used for integration into digital V/UHF radio, an IP-enabled state-of-the-art transceiver for ship to ship, ship to shore and ground to air communications," said a Rockwell Collins news release.
