L3 secures foreign data contract

L3 has been awarded a $90.7 million Air Force contract to provide data link services for foreign countries.

Under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity Foreign Military Sales contract, L3 will provide hardware, sustainment, and training for video data link services, according to a Department of Defense contract announcement.

The contract also has the "potential for other approved countries to join the contract," the DoD said.

The work is scheduled to be completed by May 2022.
