Raytheon BBN Technologies has been awarded a $10 million contract for advanced computing by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
Under the dispersed computing contract, Raytheon will develop "software instantiations of algorithms and protocol stacks that leverage pervasive, physically dispersed computing platforms to boost application and network performance by orders of magnitude," according to the Department of Defense contract announcement.
The work is scheduled for completion in April 2021.
