Decisive Analytics has been awarded an Air Force contract to develop a real-time targeting algorithm.
Decisive Analytics received a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract for Real Time Target Detection and Typing (RTDT) Manifold Algorithm Development, according to a company news release.
The contract calls for Decisive Analytics to provide machine-learning expertise for automatic target recognition for the Air Force's Space and Missile Systems Center's Remote Sensing Directorate (SMC/RS).
"The Exploitation Capabilities Division of SMC/RS is supporting the development and deployment of capabilities in the new Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Battlespace Awareness Center (OBAC) which is designed to deliver real-time OPIR Battlespace Awareness capabilities to warfighters," the company said. "With this award, DAC will integrate its algorithms into the Tools, Applications, and Processing (TAP) lab's open framework architecture to provide real-time target detection and typing. This effort is the trailblazer initiating the process of real-time battlespace awareness and OBAC deployment."
