Braxton Technologies has been awarded a $9.4 million Air Force contract for satellite ground control.

Under the Air Force Research Laboratory contract, Braxton will support the Navigation Technology Satellite-3 ground control segment.

The company "will provide the NTS-3 ground control segment to support orbit operations, while demonstrating and maturing innovative, affordable, and transitional satellite navigation ground command and control capabilities to ensure resilient positioning, navigation and timing in contested and denied environments," according to a Department of Defense contract announcement.

The work is scheduled to be completed by June 2022.
