Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $41.2 million Air Force contract for maintenance of Battlefield Airborne Communications Node aircraft.

Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide “logistics product support for four E-11A modified Bombardier BD-700 Global aircraft, as well as subsystems and support equipment in support of overseas contingency operations (OCO),” according to a Department of Defense announcement.

The work will be performed in the U.S. state of Maryland as well as Kandahar, Afghanistan. The contract is scheduled to be completed by January 2019.
