Lockheed Martin has been awarded a $150 million contract to provide sensors for Marine Corps AH-1Z Cobra attack helicopters as well as Pakistani helicopters.

Under the contract, Lockheed Martin will provide the Target Sight System (TSS) for the Cobra, according to the Department of Defense contract announcement. The contract value is $284.6 million if all options are exercised.

The TSS is a large-aperture midwave forward-looking infrared sensor with a laser designator/rangefinder turret. The contract is scheduled to be completed by January 2022.
