Roboteam is entering full-scale production of its Probot V2 all-terrain unmanned ground vehicles.

The decision comes after the company received contracts to deliver the lightweight, heavy-payload carrier and recon robots to two U.S. government agencies and the Israel Defense Forces. A Roboteam news release identified the first U.S. government organization as the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. The second was not identified.

“The second-generation Probot is an advanced version of the company’s original logistical carrier, the Probot,” Roboteam said. “The updated IOP-compliant platform has increased ‘silent’ run-time of up to 72 hours and an onboard generator, which charges the batteries while in-motion and allows the war fighter near limitless mileage.”
